Crowthers Cake Studio
Adjacent to the Frodsham shop there is Crowthers Cake Studio which has a permanent display of wedding and celebration cakes for all occasions - birthday, anniversary, engagement, wedding, christening.
Wedding Cakes
Customers are free to browse around the Cake Studio and may select from the designs on display or you may wish to discuss your own ideas with the cake decorators. All the cake (white/chocolate sponge, rich/light fruit, carrot cake) is manufactured in the bakery.
We have a variety of cakes stands available for hire and are also able to produce wedding favours - the traditional five sugared almonds in a net or small boxes of hand made truffles.
Birthday Cakes
These are most often made in white sponge but alternatives are chocolate sponge with buttercream or chocolate fudge filling, finished in white sugar paste and decorated with a personal inscription in your chosen colour. Sizes start at 6” round, 9” round, 10” square up to any size (which is manageable!)
At a small extra charge we can print any picture or photo you choose onto sugar paste. Novelty cakes will be priced according to intricacy of design.
